Details

Players will learn from current and former coaches with Team BC, Team Canada, and international playing backgrounds. Sessions begin with agility, followed by position specific drills and instruction. Sessions will finish with fun competitions that keep players motivated as they work hard to prepare for spring seasons. 

Wednesday: Defense, Arm Care, & Agility

Defense: Position specific training. Primarily infield and catching. 

Arm Care: Arm strength and injury prevention exercises. Gradual throwing progressions with emphasis on footwork and efficient transfers. 

Agility: Baseball specific quickness training and games. Developing first step quickness and body control.

Saturday: Hitting & Agility

Hitters will learn new drills and compete in games that encourage mechanical adjustments. Rapsodo will be used to monitor progress and simulate on-field ball flight.
Areas of focus include:
1) fastball timing / strong point of contact
2)  direction / gap-to-gap approach

3)  offspeeds / 2-strike approach
